Lisa has recently been awarded a visiting fellowship by the Pathological Societyof Great Britain and Ireland to travel to Professor Liotta’s laboratory at George Mason University Center for Applied Proteomics and Molecular Medicine. This visiting fellowship will support the development of technical expertise and also international collaboration. See here for details.
Professor Lance Liotta’s research group, Center for Applied Proteomics andMolecular Medicine. Virginia, USA.
Lisa was given the opportunity to visit Prof Liotta’s laboratory from the 18th to the 22nd of November 2013 in order to gain experience in laser capture microdissection protocols and explore downstream proteomic analysis such as reverse-phase protein microarray. Professor Liotta (PhD, MD) is a Pathologist and the Founder and Co-Director of the George Mason University Center for Applied Proteomics and Molecular Medicine. In 1996, Dr. Liotta and colleagues published an article in Science that described the process of laser capture microdissection.
